Rivers Women Seek Divine Solution.
In a deliberate move to profer divine solution to the political imbroiglo in the State, Women in Rivers State under the aegis of Rivers Women Unite for SIM, an assemblage of women volunteers praying for peace, unity and development across the state has called on the citizenry to turn to God as a pathway to lasting peace and sustainable development, describing prayers as the beginning of a new dawn for the oil rich state.
The women, who gathered on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Isaac Bro Park, Port Harcourt in a programme with the theme “EBENEZER” (our Hope and Help) opined that women remain at the forefront of societal transformation through sustained prayers and active contributions to family life and the economy.
